Directors

Brendan McDonnell

BBS, MBA

Director

Brendan worked as a Garda for 31 years in Mayo, Limerick and Dublin. He had specific roles in relation to crime prevention and community relations and has brought this expertise and experience to RFPM. Brendan has a business degree from the University of Limerick, an MBA from NUI Galway and a Diploma in Community Work from NUI Maynooth. Brendan founded RF Property Management in 1995.

Enda McDonnell

MA (Hons), MSCSI

Director

Enda graduated from UCD with an honours MA in 1991 and received a Diploma in Public Relations from the Dublin Institute of Technology in 1993. He became a member of the IAVI in 2001 and is now a member of the SCSI. Enda has worked with RF Property Management since 1995 and currently oversees the RFPM team of property managers.

Alison McDonnell

BA (Pysch), DBS, MSCSI

Director

Alison graduated in 1999 from Trinity College Dublin with a first class honours degree in psychology and subsequently from UCD’s Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business with a first class honours Diploma in Business Studies and IT. Prior to joining RF Property Management in 2002, Alison worked as a management consultant with Accenture. Alison oversees the collection of service charges for owners’ management companies and also ensures compliance by OMCs with their various company secretarial obligations.

Arthur Hanley

B.Sc. (Bus. Info. Sys), AssocSCSI

Director

Arthur graduated from UCC in 2000 with a first class honours degree in Business Information Systems. Arthur worked as a management consultant with Accenture for seven years and joined RF Property Management in 2007. Arthur manages the finances of many of the OMCs with which RFPM works and deals with Receivers, Liquidators, REITs and other organisations as required. Arthur also liaises with the independent auditors appointed to audit the annual accounts of the different RFPM managed developments.

Finbar McDonnell

MA (Econ), MBA, MSCSI

Director

Finbar studied Economics in Trinity College Dublin and has a Masters in Economics from the College of Europe in Belgium (1991) and a first class honours MBA from the UCD Michael Smurfit Business School (2001). A director of RFPM since 1995, Finbar worked as a consultant in business strategy and on public policy issues in London and Dublin before joining RF Property Management on a full-time basis. Finbar manages the finances of many of the OMCs with which RFPM works. He also acts as RFPM liaison with the Property Services Regulatory Authority. Finbar was elected Chair of the Property Management and Facilities Management Professional Group in the SCSI for 2018-20 and was the main author on the SCSI’s 2018 report in relation to Sinking Funds in Multi-Unit Developments.

SENIOR PROPERTY MANAGERS

Enda Burke

MSCSI

Enda has worked as a property professional since 1996. A former Associate Director of Sales with Hooke & MacDonald, Enda has considerable expertise in relation to apartment developments in the greater Dublin area, and the issues they face. With RFPM, Enda manages multi-unit developments in different parts of the city. Enda has a Diploma in Business Studies (property management) from GMIT.

David Linehan

AssocSCSI

David has worked as a property professional since 2002. Over this time, David has worked in sales, for a development company and in property management and has built up considerable experience of the property industry. His experience includes work in the customer care unit with a large Irish developer of residential property. David has an honours degree in Property Studies from DIT (Bolton Street) and has worked as a Property Manager with RFPM since 2011. He manages developments in all parts of the city and has overseen a number of large refurbishment projects in RFPM-managed apartment developments in recent years.

Niall Manley

AssocSCSI

Niall has some 20 years’ experience as a property professional. A former Estate/Site Manager for a large development in North Dublin and a former Associate Director of Hooke & MacDonald, Niall has built up an extensive knowledge of the range of issues facing apartment developments and owners. Niall is a graduate of the Auctioneering, Valuations and Estate Agency diploma course in the DIT. Niall’s main work in RFPM is on apartment developments in the Dublin 2 and Dublin 4 areas and Niall also manages the RFPM panel of approved contractors.

Jim O'Neill

AssocSCSI

Jim worked as a Garda for 31 years, mainly in the Special Detective Unit. Jim also has extensive construction related experience via a family business and has worked as a Property Manager since 2007. Jim manages apartment and commercial developments for RFPM in different parts of the greater Dublin area.

Shane Walsh

AssocSCSI

Shane worked as a member of the concierge team at the Wyckham Point complex in Dublin 16 and as a Property Manager with Wyse Property Management before joining RFPM in 2012. Shane has a Diploma in Property Management and Valuation from the Cork College of Commerce, a degree in Real Estate Valuation and Management from the University of West England (Bristol) and an MSc in Real Estate from the College of Estate Management (Reading). Shane manages multi-unit and commercial developments for RFPM in all parts of the greater Dublin area and in Co. Meath.

Support & Administration Team

The Directors and Senior Property Managers are supported in their work with Owners’ Management Companies by a strong support and administration team based in the RFPM office. This team comprises experienced personnel who liaise with property owners on the collection of service charges, manage relationships with contractors and ensure the company administration required for all OMCs is fully up-to-date.
