Every development we manage is inspected at least once a week, and often more frequently, by an RFPM Property Manager. It is our strong view that management of multi-unit developments cannot be carried out without direct supervision. We pride ourselves on an active, 'hands-on' style of management. This sets RFPM apart from other companies, which often delegate responsibility to caretakers or other maintenance staff and may have a low direct knowledge of what is happening on sites they manage.
The attention to detail that comes from close monitoring of all aspects of the maintenance of an apartment block (week after week, year after year) ensures a high level of site knowledge, regular on-the-ground contact and communication with owners and residents, and consistently high standards of maintenance. This contributes to the effective management of all developments, including where a high proportion of owners are renting their properties. It also allows us to address issues on a proactive basis, often solving (or preventing) problems on-the-ground before they are reported to our central office.
In addition to each block having its own named Property Manager, a second Property Manager and a Director will also be familiar with the maintenance of each block. This means that RFPM can always provide owners and residents with a rapid response to queries or problems. It means that our service to each block is not interrupted to allow for holidays or changes in staff, as can happen with other agents.
